Latin Language Courses (Undergraduate/Graduate Studies)

Beginners – times of verbs in the indicative mood, the functions of nouns and adjectives
Intermediate – forms and functions of verbs in the subjunctive mood, participles, ablatives absolute
Advanced – indirect speech, temporal and causal clauses

Reading Cicero’s Letters

Latin for Liturgists (Masters’ Level)

Proficient Latin for Liturgists (L711) (same course as Advanced)

Required Books

♦ SIMPSON, D.P. Cassell’s latin Dictionary, Macmillan, New York 1959 or equivalent, including a small English to Latin section. A pocket dictionary is not sufficient.

We use the teaching method of Reginald Foster OCD directly from his book Ossa Latinitatis Sola. This is also reflected in the new series by Laura Pooley, Ossa Ostensa: Book 1
