Course Details

This evening programme brings together our favourite things – Wine and Chocolate.

Appreciated for their individual tastes, wine and chocolate are not often enjoyed together. Experts, Andrew and Eiichi, will spend the evening exploring the taste sensations of pairing wine with chocolate.

Both have distinct flavour notes, textures, finishes and personalities. The tastes depend on the growing conditions, the type of plant from a particular place, as well as the harvesting and production techniques. Careful pairing allows the taster to experience them together, enhancing and complimenting the flavours.

Over two hours we shall be:

Tasting and Pairing nine combinations – three different kinds of wine and three kinds of single origin dark chocolate. Both wines and chocolate having their own introduction and explanation from both sides.
