10 days intensive learning

In Person 11th August – 22nd August 2025
No exams.
No knowledge of the language is presumed. From the first day, you will tackle real Latin from across the centuries, and begin to express yourself in Latin. We will cover:
- All verb times in the indicative
- The active and passive voice
- Command forms
- All noun and adjective groups and most of their usage
We use the teaching method of Reginald Foster

Required books: Ossa Latinitatis Sola Ad Mentem Reginaldi Rationemque, and Ossa Ostensa Book 1.
Also required: Simpson, D.P. – ‘Cassell’s Latin Dictionary’ – (Macmillan, New York 1959) or equivalent, including a small English to Latin section.
Our tutors also teach online during the year or in person, if we have minimum numbers.
